Vespa PX125E for sale, V reg (1999) Just had a £800 respray (mettalic purple/white and a Sterling sports exhaust fitted. wanted £1200 but will accept £1000 cash for quick sale!!!

Just back into scootering after long absence .... 20 odd years!! just bought a LI 125 Series 3 Restored & totally re built , running it in at moment . Just got back from YSA at Newton on Derwent yesterday & went to start it up today , it kicks over starts & then just cuts out & dies .... i have been running mix a wee bit rich , do you think I have clogged up carb? any suggestions , dont yet feel confident enough to strip it down & clean it .... anyone any ideas? Cheers..... need it sorting for Beverley ride out in a couple of weeks

1965 Vespa vbb 150 (166 malossi) german inspired street racer for sale

Px 125 motor kitted with 166 malossi,reed valve,cut crank,30mm dellorto,sterling pipe,lightened flywheel,cosa clutch,disk brake front end. Classic looks with modern performance and brakes....has main stand and sits great on the sidestand. Black paintwork.....not imaculate but it suits the scoot.....patina......but no rust whatsoever. All built and tuned at Scooterotica by Sean Bradys capable hands......Tax and tested til early next year £2900 ono Scoot in Ripon.....Stevie 07929452111

new plates and springs may solve problem but not for long. the reason your clutch slips is indian engineering.take of your crank case and remove the brass barrel.take a dremel tool and remove 1.5 to2mm of ali from the top of the barrel sleeve as this sits to high and compresses the clutch.to check when crankcase is removed clean of oil and if you see any shiny ali on the top of the barrel holder (should look dull) then its in contact with the clutch unit...all the best phil

hello to everyone, new to all this, had my vespa lxv about 4wks now, had some teething probs with it tho even tho it's brand new. it got wet and wouldn't start. picking it up today. have to go to huddersfields for it tho.keen to meet fellow scooterist in the area.

to be honest mate ive never bothered fitting shims they cause more problems than there worth specialy on stuned lmmys ive bin ridding them over twenty years and never had a problem when ive left them out hope this helps ticky darlo sc.
